Our group is focused on processing data from astroparticle experiments using modern computing techniques, including machine learning and deep neural networks.
We are currently working on the following three projects:
- Analysis of archival KASCADE-Grande data using machine learning.
- Developing sophisticated signal-processing techniques based on an autoencoder for a radio detector of air showers.
- Development and deployment of Tunka-Rex Virtual Observatory, a pilot project that implements the FAIR (Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability, and Reuse) principles for cosmic-ray radio detector data.
We will present the first results at the upcoming ICRC2021 conference.
