Modern issue trackers are very convenient, and the process of submitting a bug is easy and quick. Many bug repositories are overwhelmed with accumulated issues, which increases the time developers spend to read and triage them. Besides, developers spend time on processing duplicate issues. Automating this routine work by grouping possible duplicates or by suggesting issues similar to a new one could save a lot of time and effort for both developers and users.
The goal of this project is to investigate the applicability of existing methods of duplicate suggestion in various practical scenarios.
