Building execution graphs in distributed systems
Existing distributed data processing frameworks give an opportunity to influence, to varying degrees, the construction of the execution plan. Constraints may arise both from the peculiarities of the physical implementation of the distributed system and from the adopted model and computational paradigm.
At the seminar, we will look at the existing approaches to describe computing, starting with MapReduce and ending with declarative languages.
