Joint Advanced Student School - JASS 2021

March 29 — April 6, 2021

JASS 2021 is an intensive hands-on online workshop where international student teams will develop software and hardware for IoT systems using modern continuous software development techniques such as continuous integration, continuous deployment, and cloud computing.

In 2021, the organizers are the Imperial College of London, Technical University of Munich (TUM) and AS Popov International Innovative Institute for Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Communication of the St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI".

Students from Germany, India, China, England and Russia are taking part.

The main theme of the school in 2021 is continuous software development for IoT systems. Each team will have 5 days to present their projects, that will consist of the following:

– The use of Tello drones to simulate air transport in smart infrastructure.

– The use of autonomous transport technologies based on the Duckietown project.

– Smart Infrastructure. Work on smart lighting and smart traffic light systems based on the IoT paradigm.
