Valentin Grigorev graduated with distinction from the Department of Mathematics and Mechanics of St. Petersburg State University in 2017. Currently he is a Master's degree student at the subdepartment of Analytical Information Systems in SPbU.
His scientific interest is focused on distributed query processing in column-store systems now. He is also interested in multidimensional indexing, transactional systems, and data mining.

PosDB is a disk-based column-store that supports distributed query processing. In this project we aim to study distributed query processing, optimization, adaptivity, and physical design issues.
